Not sure why I hadn't thought of this before? Been brewing 5-gallons for quite a while, but had can of HME left over from Mr. Beer days. Thanks to them for getting me started. I like using a blowoff tube. Don't like the kreusen settling back into the beer! So I brewed up 8.5 quarts in the ole Mr. Beer keg and racked into two 1 gallon carboys. Viola!
