Hello my friends,
I am a long time forum lurker and have used this great resource since my first brew attempts. I have finally registered an account to post with!
I hope to post a few videos of my DIY projects as they progress. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if my projects will be much use to anyone as they likely will not be the simplest or cheapest method of getting it done. That will mostly be due to my second hobby, which is buying things, tearing them apart, and hooking them up to an Arduino to see what cool things they can do.
Anyway, I come bearing gifts for my first post. Nothing incredibly useful, but I had already assembled my deodorizer so here is a link to a video about it. I really would like feedback if you think of any improvements!
I expect my next post of substance will be in about 4-6 weeks as I've just placed the order for the components I need to complete it. It will be a ground up build of a PID temp controller for the fermenting chamber. Hardware wise pretty simple, but the control algorithm should get pretty fun! :rockin: (I've been exited about using my first rockin smiley)
Until next time!
