Hey guys, I am changing my chiller set up, so I am trying to sell my plate chiller that I have been using for less than one year. What I have is a duda diesel B3-36A chiller, this is just over 18" long, 20 plates, garden hose attachments for your water in/out, and 1/2" MPF fittings for the beer in/out. On top of this, I have a stainless steel T fitting on the beer out side, fitted with a weld less thermometer bulkhead, and a three piece stainless steel ball valve.

What all this means is that you can cool your wort VERY fast, you can control the output flow via the ball valve, and you can monitor the temperature of your output while going into your fermenter. The three piece ball valve is very easy to clean, and this unit will chill your wort FAST. How fast? I was able to chill my 10 gallon batches in a single pass, at nearly wide open, down to within a few degrees of my groundwater temps. This thing is really beastly.

I never had any issues with clogging or flow reduction with this unit, it was always cleaned by back flushing hot PBR for at least 20 minutes at the end of brew day, and rinsed well with clean water. All connections are made with PTFE tape and no leaks. This really is a great chiller, that always gave me great results.

Asking $175 plus shipping

Please note that it will not come exactly as shown. I will be keeping the tri-clover fittings and the thermometer.

Bump. I am willing to listen to any reasonable offers, but please don't PM me and tell me how much the plate chiller sells for by itself. I am well aware of how much this chiller sells for, but I am including more than just the plate chiller itself...

From the original description , it can be taken as this is selling as it is pictured. Or did I read it wrong? I may be interested if it is as pictured.

I was planning on removing the tri-clover fittings and keeping them for my own use. I can include them if that is what you are interested in.

Bump. And please note (again) that what is included in this sale is the chiller, the tee fitting, the ball valve, and the weld less thermometer adapter. This is not JUST the chiller for sale...

I have a 40-plate version of this chiller. It is a beast.

I have to ask about your cleaning routine. Did you just pour a 30-pack of pbr into the kettle and recirc with a pump? Or maybe just poured a couple cans of pbr into the chiller manually and let it soak?

:D :D

At the end of each brew day I rinse out the kettle to remove as much trub as possible, then I fill the kettle with hot water and pbw. I recirc this (backwards) through my pump and the plate chiller for 20-30 minutes. After that I thoroughly rinse the kettle out, fill it with fresh water, and push this through the pump and plate chiller (regular direction) to fully remove the cleaner.
