Hello all. I have been a longtime reader without ever introducing myself or posting. I took a hiatus from brewing for the last year or so and am ready to get back into it. I have yet to make the all grain plunge, but I'm gathering my equipment now. Look forward to picking everyone's brain a little. Thanks

Preston

Welcome. There are a lot of folks around here to pick the brains of. The transition to all-grain brewing can be a beautiful thing. Like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly.

Of course what I didn't realize until earlier today(my son's butterfly garden), when the butterfly emerges from the cocoon there is sticky red liquid and spare body parts all over the place. This is also has it's parallels in the transition to all-grain.
