Hi Everyone,
I'm Pat in Orange, CA.
I finally went all-in after being a Mr. Beer guy for the last 9 months (Xmas present). Well, I guess I haven't yet gone all in, since I haven't bought all the eqpt for doing all grain, but I sure bought a lot of stuff. I wanted to start kegging, so I had to get another keezer as well as the draft system.
The Fed Ex and UPS guys have been busy, so I should be able to make my first 5 gallon batch this weekend. I'll start with the Dunkelweizen from Northern Brewer.
I expect I'll probably continue to make a few Mr. Beer batches here and there, most likely for experimentation. I've made 28 batches so far, and each one came out pretty decent. However, looking at the fancy ingredients in the NB kits, I can say I'm expecting a much tastier result.
I've already learned a lot from reading threads on this site, but standy by for more questions...
