I bought my first extract kit about 25 years ago and made every mistake you can think of and still ended up with decent beer. Creating some great tasting bottle bombs was an experience! My 2nd kit was more technical and exposed me to more challenging techniques. Life and worked kicked in and my family and I traveled from New England to Texas. I recently decided to take the hobby up again and this time plan to work my way to all-grain brewing.

Just moved a California Common to its secondary and brewed a Kolsch. I plan to keg this time and in the process of building my first keezer.

Great hobby!

Welcome to HBT. You'll find there have been many, many developments since you were brewing 25 years ago. HBT will help in the learning process.

I have never been to poetry, but I did make a few trips to Fate, which is also out that direction.
