Been lurking the forum for a while and figured it was time to join.
Getting ready to buy my first brewing kit. There are a lot to choose from out there and I think I have settled on a decent one. Any comments about this kit would be appreciated. I have decided to give the 'better bottles' a chance.
Have printed 'how to brew' and am waiting on some stuff from the library. Gonna read some more before I buy the kit.
Looking forward to getting to know some folks around here.
Thanks,

Welcome aboard! That kit should be fine. It might even be a little overkill for starting off, but you may want to hear some opinions from a few others that have more experience than me. Just make sure you have a big enough kettle for your boil and with that kit you should be good to go.

Welcome! and Good luck. On your first brew a kit is the way to go. THe first one is all about figuring out your process(sanitation, stove top effeciency, work space and all the little utensils you never thought you would need) in your kitchen/ brew cave.

Thanks to both!
I am reading and learning right now. Hope to be brewing in a month or so. I figure I will start with a couple of the kit brews then move on to recipes.
THANKS
