Oetiker Stepless - how the h*ll do you get them off!?

If I'm thinking of the right clamp, it's just like a cv boot clamp on a car. If it's similar, they are one time use. You have to cut them or clip them with a pair of sidecutters.

Pliers and snips and curse words and more pliers and I got mine off

As you know - this is the install. Use a standard end cutter as pictured.

Then -

The arrows point to the strip end that you grasp.

thanks for the pic PJ, i've tried grasping that with the clamp tool and it's impossible.

i'll try a needle nose.
