Or, rather, is 32-36 hours later too soon? I added it yesterday morning, and it's been in the refrigerator since then. I have some time this evening, but should I wait until tomorrow night?

Well, I guess this is kind of moot, at this point. I held off bottling last night. I might give it a go tonight, but it's more likely I'll bottle sometime tomorrow, more than three days after adding gelatin.

Depends on how cold the beer is when crashing. If it's in the 30's. 48 hrs is usually the minimum I would crash before bottling. I usually go 3-7 days.

Thanks. It's a small batch (little under 2 gallons), so I have the whole bucket in my refrigerator. I chilled before adding gelatin. Sounds like it should be good to go this evening, at about three and a half days.

I'm in the 3-4 days minimum camp. I took some forum advice and bottled after 2 days once and ended up with a heavy deposit in the bottles. A bit of patience is a virtue here.

I'll also add that I greatly prefer isinglass over gelatin, but it's more expensive and less available, so not for everyone.

I like irish moss fine, personally, but I have a bad habit of forgetting it on brew day.
