Alright, stupid question. What is the smallest amount you can mini- mash? I am revising my Belgian blond for the third time, and I am dropping my specialty grain from 12 oz ( Belgian Biscuit) to 9 oz. I typically steep these grains, and I thought I would get some sugar out of it, as well as cut down a bit on my base malt ( Briess Pilsen light dme) to have for my starter. Also, would this change my color and flavor profile( steeping vs mini- mash).
