Hello,

I have a pressure rated fermenter and I dry hop under pressure from a TC port. I'm however wondering how many times people purge the dry hopper and at what pressure. According to the table in:
https://cdn.homebrewtalk.com/data/attach/760/760454-ppm-O2-after-purge-table-2.png
For example I would need to do 18 purge cycles at 25psi to reach a 0.00ppm level of O2 content. Do people aim for a 0.00ppm level of O2, or is if fine to target a slightly higher level of O2 ppm?

Thanks.

I completely misread your thread as I was on a wobbly bus ride.
I suppose you could purge with the ferment gas with a spunding valve on the top of the dry hopper.
Having previously filled it with the hops.
The more you purge perhaps more aroma loss.
Apologies for pointing you to a non helpful thread.

I do the fill to full with Starsan and then purge with ferment gas.
OP is asking about purging a dry hopper, not a keg. I don't own one of these things, but the instructions that I've seen in the product descriptions online aren't very detailed or specific - flush with CO2 and pull the PRV.
