Brewing related: the kegerator, a Sanyo (not the 4912) for yeast/hops/some bottle storage- and it's jammed full at the moment, and a fermentation cabinet cobbled together from a CL chest freezer.

3 is the magic number. :D

1 in the kitchen. Also have an ancient dorm fridge in the cellar that holds a 12-pack at best. I don't count that one.

I only have 1 TV that is on for maybe 15 hours/week.

There should be another poll involved here: what is the utility bill for those with multiple fridges?

5

#1: (Side by Side) for food and highly perishable brew ingredients

#2: (Side by Side) drink fridge for bottles, glasses, dry yeast, chocolates, etc.. and extra freezer space when it's not packed full of hops.

#3: Chest freezer for fermentation (in garage).

#4: Chest freezer Keezer

#5: Compact "cube" fridge so my lazy ass doesn't have to get up and walk the 6 foot to the kitchen fridge when watching re-runs of Baywatch.

And 7 TV's. Kitchen (19"), Bedroom (27"), Living Room (49"), Theater (67"), Boys Room (15"), Master Bathroom (15"), and Garage (19"). Looks like I need more fridges too.

3 or 4 here. One for food. One dorm fridge in the living room for "Currently Drinking" beers. One Fridge/Freezer in the basement for bottle storage/extra freezer space. And my Wine Bar fridge that I haven't done anything with yet...

Wow. I officially hate some of you. My equipment seems inadequate compared to some of yours

3

1 in kitchen for normal useage

1 in garage for commercial beer and other food stuff

1 in family room for fermentation and future cornies

I see another one in the near future

BTW, my last fridge I got on craigslist that was right down the street for $50. Perfect fridge and really cheap.

2 for now. One for our grub and one doubling as a fermentation chamber/kegerator. Someday 4. Looking to get a mini-fridge so I can have a kegerator in the office on the 1st floor. Then a deep-freeze for lagers.

1. Main kitchen fridge
2. Kegerator in kitchen
3. Dorm fridge in mudroom
4. Mini fridge in Barn
5. Spare garage fridge
6. Fermentation freezer/fridge in garage
7. Keezer in garage

Coming soon, 200 cu. ft. walk in cooler in brewhaus. :D

1 for food with the occasional 6 pack
1 for kegs and bottled beer
mini-fridge in van that will be moving into upstairs room swmbo is making into our craft/hang out room
1 HUGE chest freezer that will become a bar (somewhat on the idea of Jester's..which is a piece of art!)

I never really thought about it, but I've got five. My kitchen fridge, my brew storage/lagering fridge, my fermentation chest freezer, my Sanyo kegerator conversion and my Sanyo wine cellar.

Anybody got Al Gore's number? I may need to buy some carbon credits.

And when that happens a new 600 amp main panel. I burned mine up this summer as it got too hot.

Yeah, my house is on a new 200 AMP main panel and the brewhaus is on a separate 100 AMP main panel. The walk in cooler will be chilled by a 10K window AC unit like John Beere's in the diy section.

I have an all electric house and just got the bill this month. $140 and that includes running AC on some days and the Heat Pump on some mornings. Not bad at all.

1. Kitchen fridge
2. Food Freezer
3. 35 bottle wine chiller
4. Keezer
5. 12.2 g conical fridge
6. 42 g conical fridge
7. small dorm fridge for yeast etc.

That's incredible. Mine is more like $400/month...less in the winter, more in the summer. But my heater, stove/oven, water heater and dryer are all natural gas! I've got a feeling that my pool pump is a third of the bill...

EDIT: My bill includes water as well, along with all the #$%!! associated sewer fees and taxes.

My water bill is $80 only because I need to replace the pump in my well house. It will drop to $70 when I get around to dropping $3500 on that project (not any time soon).

We just have the 4
the small one in foreground holds 4 kegs and two cases
the brew room is all under ground we just set the room temp at 65-70 and leave it there all year round.
did get a complaint from SYMBO about an extra $200 electric bill but was able to smooth thing out by showing the over all cost savings LOL!!!

I have one fridge. One half of the shelving has been removed so two cornies and a 5lb tank fit. My lager primaries go in a two-cooler/Ranco/pond-pump recirculator setup similar to this one. Ales don't get the Ranco, but they usually do get a 10-gallon cooler water jacket and frozen soda bottles as necessary.
