@Pennine, I get most of my coffee from Sweet Maria's, the Honduran one was from Burman's. Most of my central American coffee get roasted fairly quickly but some of my Ethiopian can get up close to a year before I am finished with them.

The last year or so I have been happy with the flavor of some the dry process centrals I had purchased. The El Salvador one I just roasted smelled pretty good after roasting, it had a nice fermented fruit funk looking forward to sampling it in the cup in a few days.

I was tempted to dry it out and then brew barley wine processed roast but decided to dump it.... It smelled heavenly.

I’ve been away from HBT for a while with crazy schedules, so I have been behind on posting my coffee roasting. So here it is…

6/21/25 I roasted 1.1 pounds each of Ethiopian and Honduran beans.
7/3/25 I roasted 1.43 pounds each of Indonesia, Peru and Rwanda beans.
7/24/25 I roasted 2.87 pounds each of Indonesia and Nicaragua beans as well as 1.76 pounds each of Peru and Rwanda.

For a total of 15.75 pounds of beans.

142.5 + 15.75 = 158.25 to date.
