I keep track of my femto brewery using Microsoft Project, and with today being most likely the last brew session of 2011 (and an epic two batch day it was!) decided to review the year to see just what I did.
It came to 34 batches averaging 5.5 gallons for a total of 187 gallons of brew. Mostly IPAs, followed closely by Pales, then Wheats/Wits/Weizens, then Stouts, with some ESBs, Dopplebocks, Porters, Reds and one Marzen thrown in.
Aside from the 11 gallons brewed today, I have six kegs on tap and four more carbing. Guessing the kegs on tap average half filled, that's roughly 61 gallons remaining from that 187 gallons brewed in 2011. Meaning somehow 126 gallons of beer mysteriously disappeared along the way.
The only clue I have is all of my belts seem to have gotten shorter...
Irish Stout - 5gal
Nutcastle Brown Ale - 5gal
Sierra Pale Ale - 5gal
Sammy's Oatmeal Stout - 6gal
Vanilla Creme Caramel Ale - 6gal
Programmer's Elbow ESB - 6gal
Janet's Brown Ale - 6gal
Black Widow Porter - 6gal
I've been putting in some gallons under my belt since the last entry.
Happy to say I've passed my 100g mark for the year, not bad considering that I started in March.
44737g
15g - Germ Hefe
5g - B. B. Dopple
10g - Irish Stout
8g - NoMad Amber Ale
5g - #81 Ale
---------------------------
Total: 43g + 44737
Everything for this year so...
California common, Irish red, oktoberfest, cream ale, rye pale ale (2 gal), magic hat #9, arrogant bastard, dubbel, and amber ale. So that's 45094+47=45141
I am brew 10 gallons at a time on my all grain system and year to date is 9 batches but I am going to brew one more this week. That is a total of 100 gallons. My buddy that I brew with brewed 3 times on his 10 gallons system he got in October. We split the beer we make. Each of us takes 5of the 10 gallons back home. So I guess together we brewed 130 gallons.
Brewed my first two batches this year - used a darn green garden hose (Doh!) for the water, so they have a distinct aroma, but hey it is still beer (and I know why it didn't turn out right)!
