On a whim fermented 3 gallons of a SMaSH with Maris Otter and Mosaic (basically just using what I already had in the house, fridge, freezer, etc.). I've made quite a few Maris Otter and Mosaic SMaSHs before, but I do kind of wonder what style it would fall into since it was only 22 IBUs, despite an OG of 1.046 (when Brewer's Friend estimated 1.040). I think statistically it falls most into "American Blonde Ale," but that's a style that is WAY WAY WAY light on the hops, but I did flameout hops and dry hopping since I want that damn Mosaic goodness. "Hoppy blonde"? "Not-that-bitter APA"? I guess SMaSH it is.
