How many 5 gallons kegs can I serve with a full 13 lbs CO2 tank?

Just wondering if I get a 13lbs co2 tank, how can I make calculations to know how many 5 gallons kegs could I possibly serve? I know there are many variables but any example that could demonstrate how to calculate that would be nice to hear from you! My concern is I'm brewing on a very remote island and it is not possible to fill the tank there so I want to know what size tank I should get. Thanks

Man, I dunno about any computation since I use my Co2 to purge empty kegs, push around beer and force carb.

I used to have 5 lb tanks and would get about 15 kegs per each - but that was also using them for force-carbing.

5 lbs is the net weight of the CO2 in the tank.

Do you want to serve beer? Or serve and carbonate the beer? It doesn't take much to serve beer AKA push it out of a already carbed keg. If you want to carb the beer up and serve it, it works out to about a pound per 5 gallon keg, depending how much you want it carbed up.
I'd recommend getting 20 pound CO2 tank or tanks, because they are a common size and not to heavy to handle, but stable enough to not knock over and wreck your gauges (like the smaller tanks might) And it's a lot of CO2 so you won't run out soon.

Especially given your situation, I'd also strongly recommend a back-up tank - there's nothing like finding a leak the hard way and not being able to serve any of your beer.
