Hello

I brewed a blueberry wheat several weeks ago. I had it in primary for 3 weeks then went to secondary a week ago which is when I added the blueberries. How long should I leave it in secondary before bottling/kegging?

I think you need to follow your yeast's advice on that question. When you racked the wheat beer onto the blueberries, it kicked up another fermentation, I assume, with the yeasties eating up the sugar from the blueberries. So you need to wait until that fermentation is completed.

Then, you'll need to wait for your yeast to flocculate, to largely drop out of suspension and have your beer clear. There will still be plenty of yeast in the beer to bottle carbonate, if that's what you want to do.

When I've racked onto fruit, its taken anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. Good luck with your brew,

Jim

Can you have beer in the secondary too long? I have been waiting on my chest freezer to arrive and my American Amber Ale has been in secondary for several weeks.
