how long does beer last in grolsch style bottles?

I have a large amount of green, grolsch style bottles. love how much easier they make bottling. I wanted to check how long beer lasts in them. I figured anything i'll drink in the next 6 months should be good, but i was planning to make some long haul beers soon (rye porter, coco stout, belgian dubbel). should i avoid these handy, dandy bottles and stick with the capped kind or will they keep the beer good for a year or more?

Except for light skunking. Worth mentioning. Keep them in a dark place.

I've never had an issue with them. I have had beers stay in flip tops for over a year and half with no issues

+1 on the dark place, any green bottle beers i buy are in 12 pks because they are fully closed off from light, never buy 6ers they are skunked every time!!!

Very important point.

I use wine boxes for keeping all my green bottles.
