I Brewed again 3 days ago. I let the bag just hang over a bucket until i reached boiling. I then put the bag in my bucket and pressed it out with my body weight. I again got 0.5 gallons of wort that i otherwise would have thrown out.
i always do a quick wipe down with a soapy sponge and rinse. But you really don’t have to be anal about it since they touch the beer pre-boil.
