How do you "tag" or label your kegs?

I was thinking about buying some "shipping tags" to label my kegs that I'm aging. I thought it would be great to record the specifics of the brew (dates, gravities, etc...). I thought it would also be cool to use as "brew notes" and go back through them from time to time. I saw these on eBay:

Anyone else use these or something else?

There are 50 in this auction, so that should last me a long time!

All the beer information is stored on my computer, no large tags required.
Different labels based on the process.

Was using duck tape (mistake). Now blue tape (good), going to try sharpie/nail polish remover - great tip, thanks!

Same with masking tape. If you number your brews in your brew book, you can simply write the brew number on the tape and save yourself a ton of double-writing.

Same for me..... Masking tape and a permanent marker.....

I use blue painters tape and a black marker. Keeps it simple and cheap

Same, the blue tape comes up and goes down well and can be used multiple times. I have moved around my "water" and "empty" tags more times than I can count and they are still going strong.

i use those tags for kegs and carboys. Picked them up in the shipping supplies section at staples.

I use almost those exact tags. I get them from Officedepot or equivalent office supply store.

I use Post-It Tape and a Sharpie. I make the label and stick it on the fermenter and then transfer it to the keg. When the keg is dust, I put it in my brewing notebook.

Old thread, but I'll contribute...

I always end up with 4 fermenters at the end of a brewday, often all different. So I tag the carboys, each tag with notes, then transfer the tags to the kegs. I use the same tags as the OP (6 years ago!), but mine are colored.
