How do you guys get the lid off of your primary fermenter?

Just FYI -- I cut notches into the outer lip on my bucket lids. This makes the lip more flexible and easier to put on and take off.
 
Maybe it's just me, but I just pull out the stopper of my carboy!



But it seems to pop a whole lot easier for the girlfriend than for me.
 
I am overdrawn at the Bank of SWMBO as well.
I am picturing poor chefbrew pulling a Chevy Chase in Vacation when pulls off the license plate looking for the gas cap!
 
I always thought they were screw on/off

Oh they are, but if you screw them on real tight then you're going to be fighting with it to unscrew it as they always seem to tighten up during fermentation.
 
STUPID HOME DEPOT!!! Went in to buy one of the bucket-lid-puller-offers and they said they don't sell them anymore.
