I just entered a random number for flow rate, however the rest of the info is correct. Trying to setup my saison for 3vols at 38 degrees. I just have a basic setup within a refrigerator. Above I’m trying to figure out my beer line length. Thank you.

It is however fast you want to fill your glass. If i remember correctly 8-10 seconds per pint is the standard rate. Start long and shorten it to the flow rate you want.

as far as i know you want the friction from the tubing to be about the same as the psi? otherwise you just pour foam? i only carb my dry beer to 7-8 psi and use 8-9 feet of 3/16". and different types of material tubing have different resistances so that matters too?

for 17 psi 4.28 ft seems short, think you'ld just get a 'quick' glass of suds....

The carb psi, serving psi and hose length has me confused when using these calculators. Using 17 psi and 38*F to carb up my saison......now trying to figure out hose length and serving pressure. I just have my 2.5 gal corney in my fridge along side the co2 tank, so no long run to draft tower. Currently using 4’ of beer line at around 6-8psi and pouring slowly.

damn, been a while since i did my beer lines....i'm actually using 1/4" tubing...sorry
