Hoses

What are you guys using for hoses in RIMS. I need to use some flexible hoses with some QDs. HD has some reinforced vinyl but wont it melt at 200*F. I really dont want to hard pipe it, need to be able to take it down.

You'll want silicone tubing. 3/8" or 1/2" is a good size. You won't find it at HD or Lowe's....you need to look at morebeer or mcmaster (cheaper there).

There's also a white thermoplastic hose that is good up to 250F and cheaper than silicone. I guess the only downside is you can't see the flow.

I got my silicone tubing from USplastics. The price is pretty good but you need to order in 10ft increments (I got 20ft, very helpful stuff)
