I'm wanting to start growing some hops. I love the taste and smell of citra and mosaic hops. Right now my favorite commercial beer is deschutes fresh squeezed. Unfortunately you can't get citra or mosaic rhizomes. Knowing that I love citra and mosaic what would you all recommend that are available? I have been homebrewing for a while but have done it from extract kits so really my knowledge is limited.
 
There's a Hops Growing forum here. I've just recently been going over the idea of growing some here in Halifax. One of the places I looked online for rhisomes had Citra I thought.


Bad that was in Canada and from what I hear it's hard to ship plant materials across those imaginary lines.
 
Yeah. I have looked around on that section but not much I the way of hop selection and not as much traffic in that section either.
 
Dude, it's friggin' winter for most of the HBT hop growing community.
Right now my 15 hop crowns are buried under snow.
Not a hella lot to talk about...
