I misread the recipe in the recent BYO on Saisons and only bought the Sterling. I thought I had added the Hallertauer to my basket, but must not have.

The recipe called for Halltauer and Sterling Hops.

Grain bill:
Mainly Pilsner with a little Flaked Wheat

The recipe called for:
Bittering of Sterling
Aroma of Hallertauer
0 Min additions of Hallertauer and Sterling
A dry hop of Sterling.

For a total of 30IBU

Yeast -> French Saison and Roeselare Blend.

I have more then enough Sterling, what should I substitute for the Hallertauer. I am also planning on brewing a porter with Fuggles this weekend.

I have:
A pound of EKG
4 oz each of Fuggles, Delta, Willamette, Styrian Goldings, Cenntenial.

Any ideas for what to substitute for the 2 oz. of Hallertauer?

Thanks,

Matt

i'd do an ounce of willamette for the aroma addition and an ounce of centenial at the 0 min addition
