Just started brewing -- cracked open a "starter kit" I received as a gift, and am now hooked.

First batch was a colossal failure. Opened my first bottle, and had a science experiment - looked like a two liter of Coke with a Mentos dropped in. lol

Second batch was a fantastic amber ale, followed by a third belgian tripel.

I'm now buying a new setup to move from 1 gallon to 5 gallon. Already found a ton of helpful information on this forum. Looking forward to even more great ideas, and great brews!

Welcome, I am new here as well, and from the beautiful state of CO. at least that bottle didn't literally explode on ya! My last batch of cider has been, well, spirited upon opening, if not fully chilled. I feel yer pain!
