I am about to dry hop my first beer and was planning on storing opened hops in a plastic bag for 2-3 weeks in the freezer until I'm ready to throw them in. Is this storage technique alright or should I invest in a food vacuum sealer?
If your going to use them within a few weeks, just make sure you get as much oxygen out as you can. Or if you plan on buying hops in bulk, ie 1lb bags, then it wouldn't hurt to invest in a vacuum sealer for that reason.
