well i just kegged this today after a 9 day dry hop with 1 oz of citra leaf. the aroma is AMAZING and the aroma and flavor of the simcoe/citra combo is delish. no harsh bitterness at all, just a smooth fruity finish to a nice malty brown... i cant wait for this to be carbed up!!

What did you get from the aroma? I just made an APA yesterday, all with citra, and was surprised at the lemon aroma after it cooled. I don't mean it in a tart way, but it had a very enticing, warm, lemon aroma. I am using a total of 4 oz in it after the dry hop. I am expecting great things from this hop.

i got more of a melon, sweet fruity smell... maybe tangerine? sweet with some grapefruit? i wish i could really hammer down how to describe it - i love it though.

this is in my top 3 batches... it may well end up #1. its not going to last long. the piney/citrusy flavor from the simcoe + the carmel-chocolate malt is a killer combo with the aroma of the citra- i cant make this fast enough again!

made an American Wheat like Gumballhead using all Citra... wow good.
thanks to whom ever made Citra.
going to have to give this one a to do.
perhaps 10 gallons and dry hop 2 different ways.

wow, i love that recipe. might have to steal it.
it really is delish, this is going to go way to fast. 10 gal is a must next round.

i really wanted to get a feel for the aroma for citra this round, which is amazing... but a dual hop dry hop does sound delicious. how was the flavor addition of citra? did you do it at 20? 15? 10?
