Hop Rocket and Plate Chiller

I currently use a false bottom, hop rocket and a counter flow chiller in my setup.

I am considering switching to a plate chiller, but am concerned about clogging.

I'm thinking that if I use the Hop Rocket as a hop back it'll do a decent job filtering the wort in prep for the plate.

Any thoughts on using the hop rocket with a handful of rice hulls for lower hopped beers/different styles?

Would there be tannin issues?

In either case will the Hop Rocket be enough to prevent clogs?
