Hey all
i have a small hop plant growing in a big pot on my balcony and it has not generated any hops i was wondering if there was any other way i could tell the gender of my plant before i go wasting my time if it is a male.
i bought it online and i am not sure what type of hop plant it is or the gender. any help?

If you bought a rizome, then there's like a 99.9% chance it's female.

Also, if you planted it this year, it likely won't produce any hops because it's too late in the growing season, and they don't always produce in their first year.
