What do you guys think of using a plastic storage bin turned up side down to become the Hood for the exhaust fan? I have seen that some people use this, just want some feed back. Give me pros and cons.

I'd say it depends on what's more important to you. It will be cheap and it will work but like BeardedBrews says, it will look funky.
There's an exhaust fan here, https://mobilehomepartsstore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=250251
That I installed and had a tin knocker friend make up the hood for me.
Hood is 48" wide, 24" out from the wall and 12" high. .080 aluminum pop riveted together and cost me $275.
Of course you could go with this, https://mobilehomepartsstore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=203650

Building a brew house is like buying a bike or a car. If you like the way it looks you will enjoy using it more.

A quick study might notice that Kevin has a 14'x8' giant roll up vent that he could be using instead of that hood. Presumably aesthetics helped influence his design. [emoji6]

I noted that the only Con of the plastic tub is that it's a plastic tub. If that doesn't bother you then I think we have a winner. I personally just used screws and wire to hold a cheap box fan in the window above my kettle. Function over style won out for me.

the responses were great, I would like a nicer one and looked at getting a kitchen hood, but darn guys I am pretty cheap. I figure I can always upgrade.
Brew on.
