I brewed the Nor'wester Brewing Co's partial mash recipe from the book North American Clone Brews. I used the WLP300 yeast. I have another beer in secondary that used the Wyeast Belgian Abbey II which I have some of the washed yeast from. What are your thoughts on brewing w/ the Belgian yeast instead of the Hefe? Any experiences or thoughts?

At the very least it will give you a unique flavor profile...in my opinion the Hefe is a little superior to Belgian, but that's just an opinion!

I brewed a wheat beer with 5.25 lbs of two row and 5.25 lbbs of red wheat with washed wyeast 3787 (trappist high grav). It was spectacular.
