Uh-Oh. I just bought and crushed ingredients to do a BM Krispier Kolsch.

7.00 lb Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (2.0 SRM)
1.00 lb Wheat Malt, Ger (2.0 SRM)
0.50 lb Honey Malt (25.0 SRM)
1.00 oz Hallertauer [4.80%] (60 min)
0.20 oz Saaz [3.80%] (15 min)
0.20 oz Saaz [3.80%] (5 min)

1 Pkgs Kolsch Yeast (Wyeast Labs #2565)

I was at my LHBS getting the grains and crushing them. Well they only sold the Honey Malt in 1lb bags. So I popped one open and poured half in the scale to get ready to crush it. I looked at the other 1/2 of the bag and thought "what the hell am I going to do with this other half" so I tossed it in. After doing some research now I have read others post that one pound may be way over kill in general...Unfortunately I just put all my grains in the same big bag. I did the honey malt last so I may be able to just get a big scoop off the top and get some out if I'm lucky. Worth it to try? I should have know better...!

Not worth the effort to get just the honey malt off the top. Bump up you IBU and just counter it a bit
