I did the convert on a Oster mini fridge almost a year ago. Many sixtels have been run thru the lines. Not until I started kegging homebrew did I have a problem with stuck faucets. I clean the lines and faucets after every keg. What is the reason that homebrew is making them stick? I KNOW I KNOW bite the bullet and get the perlicks. Just wondering the cause? Is it cause the beer is not filtered as commercial beers are? Thanks for any input

My experience was the same weather it was homebrew or commercial. Beer becomes sticky when it dries regardless if its filtered or not. Odd you only had it with the homebrew.....but yeah, Perlicks baby!

I say it's the filtering. You've got some extra goodies in your HB that 1-make it awesome and 2-probably contibute a bit to the sticking. Taps can deffinitely stick with commercial beer, but my guess is it's more likely with HB.

.....switch to perlicks
