Home brewing club around Seattle??

I am completely new to home brewing. I live in this great city of Seattle that has so many options for quality beer.
I was wondering if there are any clubs out there (greater Seattle area) or user groups, where people can get together and learn from each other?
I appreciate this forum/website, but somehow getting together in person seems like a good way to learn.

Boiled my first Wort 12 days ago, a Porter. I have a home brew supply store within 1/2 mile from the house. I expect to bottle this coming weekend.

Anyway, if there are any Seattle folks that see this, and have a brewer's group that takes newbies... I'm all in.

I'd try checking out the Washington section of the forum. It's a big state, but I figure you might get quite a few other Seattle-area brewers on there.

Thank you for sending that link. I am pretty in touch with other hobby/forums, but this brewing forum seems huge! I didn't even know there was a NW section. I will peruse that one.

I hope it's more populated than our Michigan one, there's not much going on there.
