Hey all, I was searching for bottle tree threads and came across some from back in 2010 but didn't see much current discussion going on about them. I was itching for a DIY project and thought that might be a good one to try out since I have a batch ready to bottle and no good place to dry them after sanitizing. I came across an old thread by knightshift who showed picts of his DIY tree. Inspired I went to home depot to see if I could cobble together one if a similar design.
I opted for a larger 4" diameter trunk and was surprised that I was able to come up with a configuration that would hold a five gallon batch of 12oz bottles in six rings of nine stems. I had the room to make more but left it at that for now.
I'll post picts soon but thought I would fire up a thread to see how DIY trees have progressed. Any new innovations?
