Hey everyone! I have been a lurker for the past 6 months! This forum is FUN and I have been learning sooooo much! I started my homebrewing journey in a 400-ish square feet apartment about 7 months ago with a 1-gallon all grain kit! Now I have my 11th 5-gallon batch fermenting and that's gonna be my first beer going into a keg! Nice meeting all of you!

Hello everyone! I wish I could do more brewing, too bad the living space in HK just would not allow me to have more equipment! Can't wait to get both these beer out of the fermenters so I could brew more! Here's a pic of my ghetto setup!

Looks like a nice compact set up. I'm leaving for Hong Kong tomorrow on business. Only there for three days before heading to Shenzhen for a couple of days. Any recommendations on spots for good beer?

Yea apartments in HK are all super tiny, I wish I have space for more equipment! There are a few great places for beer, The Ale Project, Roundhouse, The Globe. We have like only 1 LHBS in HK as far as I know called Hong Kong Brewcraft also.

Yea but I wish I have more space for equipment! There is a few good places for beer, The Ale Project, The Globe, Roundhouse. There's also one, and the only one, LHBS called Hong Kong Brewcraft if you are interested! Have fun!

Thanks much! On my last trip (in February), I could not convince my guides to find a good place for beer, let alone some craft beer. Tsingtao is Ok once in a while, but a steady diet of it leaves one wanting something more flavorful. I am not trailing around a group of execs this time, so I might be able to convince my contact to find one of these places to try out.

I am also very partial to authentic Chinese cuisines, so finding a family restaurant which has anything other than rice wine and Tsingtao is difficult.
