Hi, i'm a drunk and i've recently fallen on hard times. I'm looking for a way to make alot of cheap hooch, if it tastes horrible than so be it. My goal here is to get as drunk as possible for as long as possible and for as little amount of money as possible.

An old jailbird friend of mine once told me how to make pruno but I was never shown how to actually do it. I'm curious as to whether or not there are better recipes for brewing this type of disaster. There's a wine store here in town so I can buy some supplies like a large container, filters, yeast, whatever else I may need.

What are cheapest and easiest methods to make hooch? Something that a sorry noob like myself won't mess up.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Fitz.

apple juice bakers yeast and time. it will do it for you. it will be cheap and taste horriable just like you want
have fun

There are tons of forums out there for you needs. Please feel free to google pruno and you'll find all the info you need. We're into quality (but sometimes cheap!) beverages so you won't find much discussion here for you.

How much yeast would I need per gallon? Should I add sugar? Are there any other ingredients that would make it extra special?

I came here because this place looked the best. I figured seasoned brewers could be the best help for this sort of venture.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, I guess, depending on how you look at it), that's not the case here. I'd suggest a forum for underage/college kids who are into cheap hootch, and not quality fermenteds.

Hootch threads are watched closely, discouraged, and usually closed pretty quickly. Trust me, you'll be happier somewhere else.

This is just a beginners project. At a later date I may get into the better stuff.

Is hooch unlawful, and quality fermenteds lawful?

Stay away from the hooch, man. If you really are on the up and up, try this out:

Apple juice, sugar and yeast. It's tasty as hell and will hurt you the next morning.

That is exactly the type of stuff that I need to make.

And when you're done, use the yeast cake to make some skeeter pee. Another tasty, yet cheap to brew beverage.

When the time comes i'll look into it.

Thanks alot,

:mug:

I hope EdFitz is the next person to post a drunken apfelwein thread in the next few months... This year i will not be bringing apfelwein to my friends xmas party. Last year ended pretty poorly after my 1.5 cases were polished off...

With all due respect, I find that fits my definition of hooch quite nicely. There is a place for grog, even here!

If it wasn't for this post, I would have never found the awesome thread posted by ChshreCat and brewed up my very first batch of apfelwein two weeks ago. :)

Hey, no dissing the apfelhooch... errr... apfelwein. :D

I made a batch of "apfelhooch" about two years ago and it was absolutely vile for about a year and a half. Just had a bottle yesterday and.... Perfection! :D
