So I found a beer keg laying in the rubble of an old pub. I want to make this into my hlt but not sure if it is ok to drill into? Or will it be pressurised ? Does any know

Push the center ball down with a screw driver and release the pressure. Do a search on how to make a keggle

I'd venture to say that keg likely belongs to someone other than the pub in question.
