I purchased the keg with the hole already drilled. I installed the center pick up, but I am worried that I will not be able to drain properly.

The flow definitely slows.

Any suggestions would be great.

As long as there's no leaks in the fittings, it will drain to the lowest point on the pick up tube. The only thing to be aware of is that a siphon won't start without the water initial level being above the valve.

With the center dip tube, you should be fine. Are you draining it with or without hose connected?
