Dude sold this to me on BBB for only $500. Worth it. Don't know how he got it out of the taproom though...

Art...
Yes. That is the only beer I have left to try. Then I’m fucken done and out! But will drink Arthur for the rest of my life and be so fucken happy!

I think Art is the pinacle of my beer ‘hobby’ too. However, I’m pretty positive I’ll Never have it but as long as I drink a few bottles of Arthur each year, all is right in my world.

Honestly, I saw no chaos. All was pretty well organized and things moved at a decent pace. No complaints about having to share a 375, especially given the cost of admission. I've not experienced this in the past, but they only sold Ann in the "drink-only" line and the last register (i.e. you couldn't get a bottle when it was your turn to get your growler filled). The line for bottle service was to the door for as long as I was there (until 1pm or so). Menu for those interested.

The retail space was also quite busy when I left:

And for those curious, the roads were muddy but my Civic made it without issue. Came from Hardwick/15 and left down Taylor Road/Rt. 16.

Can't wait to crack my first S&S 9 can!
Out of curiosity, are there limits on the 3F Geuze?

Was Shaun not kicking people out when they showed up at the crack of dawn for DBD b1? I showed up right at 8:30 when he said and got lucky, but I heard of people showing up earlier and being told to leave. Could put a time in the release announcement and then there's no excuse and you could only justifiably complain to yourself if you got there too early and didn't get anything or had to leave and come back.

dude the DBD b1 release is still the worst run thing i've ever seen by any brewery ever, and that's coming from someone who went to DLD when it had coolers

UGHHHHH i am coming up for a buddy's bachelor party for the first time since 2013 (oh the days of the portapotty...) and BoT seriously sold out?!

Did a big (almost) all Hill Farmstead tasting yesterday for the first time since 2014 - as typical, we did not get through nearly as many beers as planned due to time and reality. Some beers we actually consumed:

CD15, 16, 17
Civil Disobedience Plum
Vera Mae 2016
M&C 10
Gin Barrel Clara and 06/2015 Clara
WoL de Molen
LoG January 15, 2016 (BA Farmer Wave, basically)
Gin Barrel Brother Soigne
Juicy b2-b4
Sankt Hans
E. 2016

Brief notes: CD15 has improved markedly from my memory. Huge mango and very little acidity/sourness. Barrel integrated. This was one of my favorites of the day. Gin Clara - glad to finally try this. Huge gin character that really worked well with the base beer - I loved this. On the contrary, Gin Soigne, consumed later in the tasting, was far less complex. Not a ton of barrel and may just be a bit young; need to revisit in a year or two. Vera Mae 2016 was amazing as usual - beautiful melange of flavors between honey, dandelion, and the barrel - I expect this to continue to develop well for another year or two. Juicy b2 is fantastic right now - we had this first, and the complexity in comparison to b3 especially, but also b4, was evident. Really enjoyed that one. Madness 10 is still just as great as you hear in the Facebook group.

Hoped to get to several other bottles but only had a few hours, so HF tasting 3.0 is in the works in the near future...

Mikecap, how was the De Molen? I’ve heard mixed things.

Similar to what I remember a few years ago - big beer, sticky and sweet, still boozy with a noticeable barrel presence. I definitely enjoy it in small doses, but not my favorite stout from HF (or de Molen).
