Enjoying a Flora batch 3. More subtle than the later Floras. White grapes, green apple, notes of plum, black pepper. Very nice.

The time I had my wife and teenage girls with me I made the teenagers wait in the car back in the wait in line days for growlers they were miserable with no cell service it was glorious!
four years later my kids still mention that day as if it was the worst ever.... Kids who grow up with technology have no clue what to do when without it, I think they ended up hanging out with a charlie the dog, lol.
i think i like you a lot more now

The motueka single hop pale ale was one of the reason I love motueka hops.

Same. That beer was absolutely incredible.

In other news, Saturday was easily the busiest day I've ever seen at HF. Taproom was absolutely slammed. Interestingly and to the contrary, up there with the quickest days in the retail room ever.

Damon Kieni was fantastic, one of the best beers I've ever had.

Is Difference & Repetition the same grain bill every time with different hops? The two I've had (Simcoe/Galaxy/Hallertau, Simcoe/Amarillo/Hallertau) have been really, really good.

I'm not going crazy, HF hoppy stuff has taken a new leap recently, right? I know there were people complaining post expansion that the IPAs weren't quite what they were before (and maybe rumors Shaun was unhappy with where they were at?). I more or less chalked it up to hearsay and changing palates with the onset of Tree House fanboyism but I've gotta admit D&F and the most recent batch of Legitimacy on my most recent two trips have been pretty much the best hoppy beers I've had in the last year.

Agreed, D&R5 was amazing. I'm really hoping we see some of these again.

they definitely had some less than stellar ipa's immediately following the expansion but they did right the ship quickly.... so far as taken a new leap... i'm not sure... they are back to being absolutely fantastic though like they had always been... It was quite shocking when i had gotten a growler of Susan back right after the expansion and questioning if i had gotten beer from Hill Farmstead... i don't think it took more then a few days/weeks for things to get dialed in fully though
