I brought my 3 year old up on a cannonball run with a buddy a few months ago. Thought he'd enjoy the drive and the scenery. He vomited consistently for 5 hours in the car. No more travel buddies.

The time I had my wife and teenage girls with me I made the teenagers wait in the car back in the wait in line days for growlers they were miserable with no cell service it was glorious!

four years later my kids still mention that day as if it was the worst ever.... Kids who grow up with technology have no clue what to do when without it, I think they ended up hanging out with a charlie the dog, lol.

Can't wait to tell old war stories to my kids of waiting hours in line with no cell reception for growlers of beer, with only Shaun's mom pouring samples under a canopy for sustenance.

A couple different people at our table in the tasting room last week independently used "lemon pledge" to describe it, which I'd agree with. I do think it has the potential to age into something nice once the citrus mellows a little bit.

Ha! I opened one with 4-5 other people who all said “lemon pledge.” Just so much citrus and not enough disobedience to keep it civil.

Agreed that it may mellow out, but I wasn’t a big fan.

I actually got off my lazy ass and traded for a few bottles, so definitely excited to hear it's tasting delicious. Looking forward to opening one with a buddy in a couple weeks.

Birthday beverage. There's like no barrel to this bad boy and I agree it's brown sugar, caramel and a bit of dark fruit deliciousness. This said, I disagree with the sentiment that this is better than b2 fresh. b2 had a bit more heat and some nice oaky barrel. Nothing wrong with it, but I just think it's not quite there. In time, when this sweetness fades, I think this will be perfection. But no, I doubt it'll reach that b1 level. Must be the bottle shape...
