Eh, I meant the exact same thing, "I don't get it" = "They are pointless" just said in a different way.

It was explained to me as helpful for busy days eliminating the need for pours/glassware.

Edit: I see this has already been addressed. Carry on with FoFA ticket ISOs everyone.

Had that Flo with 14 and 16 recently and the 12/15 was clearly in it's prime

How is it drinking?

Just come up either way and hang Thursday. We are gonna own Hill! Celebrate properly... send Zimm off in style!

And we all know... you may have missed raginasian238 on purpose!

I thought about going up with the wife anyway and hoping to stumble upon an extra ticket if I don't find 1 before. Helping you celebrate would be a bonus. Provided raginasian238 doesn't dropkick me in the face:D

We'll see.

Also taking this opportunity to invite you all to Hill on Zimm's behalf. You only get married once, after all.... well, sometimes. But hopefully this will be his only time.

Yesterday at Hill, btw, was great. Forgot to post in this thread because I was too busy enjoying life and not being crabo. Cans were good; the growler pour was even better. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks.

Been drinking through some of the HF in my basement. Some cliff notes of the drinking over the past 2-3 weeks.
ery
Flora BRBC--Nov. 2016. Very raspberry and red wine forward. Delicious, interested to see how it develops

Convivial Suarez-August 2014--The star of a recent tasting. Murky-ish brown. Tons of bold lemon, cherry flavor. Really nice. Doesn't appear to be falling off. Maybe hit a new phase?

Arthur October 2014--This one felt less lemon/cream forward than many other recent Arthurs ive consumed. Nice but maybe a bit past its prime

Arthur March 2015--Just absolutely delicious. Drink many of these if you have them sitting around. Drink an entire bottle in very fast order. Tons of lemon meringue.

CD 17--Of the 9-10 bottles i've had in the CD series, i will say that 17 is likely my favorite. Tons of bright orange. Still wonderful. WIsh i had 12 bottles of this. This is worth trading for right now

GOM 2015--Absolutely fantastic. Maybe a little less coffee than fresh. but just lovely. I noticed on the new bottle the drink within six months note. I could see that for the coffee. But this is still wonderful.

and I'll reiterate. Arthur Puncheon is my favorite new beer of 2017. I would love to try CD 18.

Finally planning another trip up in August. From anyones experience was it bare bones the week after FoFA? I think it'll end up being the 10th and 11th unless it'd be wise to wait a couple weeks until everything is restocked

Seems as though HF leaves customers happy on a regular basis these days. On-site gems like Ann, Still Art, Art, Being & Time et. all pop up pretty often when the bottle list is on the leaner side, so even if there aren't a ton of takeaway bottles there are usually perks most of the time.

I was up the week after last year and Parker Pie had some great stuff on. Don't remember in Waterbury.

Starting to finalize my FoFA week plans. If you see a glaring omission please let me know.

Monday night -Arrive in Boston
Tuesday - Hang out in Boston, visit Trill.
Wednesday - More Boston (have been plenty, not looking to be super beer centric)
Thursday - Leave Boston, go to Parker Pie for lunch. Head to HF for the afternoon/evening. Go to AirBnB in Stowe. Maybe find a short 1-2 hour hiking spot in there.
Friday - Hit up Alchemist, visit Ben and Jerry's, go to Doc Ponds for lunch and Hen of the Woods for Dinner. Maybe find a 1-2 hour hiking spot at some point.
Saturday - FoFa with dinner at Pro Pig that evening.

In tow will be my wife, who surprised me with tickets for my 30th birthday. Other than stouts/barleywines she is not super into beer, which is why I am not going to Treehouse/Foam/Fiddlehead/etc... So non beer suggestions are more than welcome as well

Do I hit the highlights?

If you've got a car, go check out Tree House's new spot. They may or may not have full pours in two weeks (none tomorrow, for example) but you'll be able to get cans if you want them. Hit up some combination of Armsby Abby / Medusa / Springdale / Jack's Abby / Exhibit A on the way back.
