ISO ride from Raleigh to greensboro to get some of these shelf saisons.

Seriously though, I would rather be there this weekend than just about any bottle limit release. Anna+Arthur+Soigne+Florence would be high up for "you can only drink 4 different beers from now on" top of the list

One of my buddies is throwing his big annual fall party this weekend. If that weren't happening I'd seriously make the drive.

also, any details on what is going on up there this weekend with zwanze? i had no plans at all on going up after being there in august.. but this is very tempting..

The amount of butthurt conspiracy theories circulating on FB about CW is beyond comical at this point... There is legitimately a thread of people discussing what methodology the brewery used to pick locals and friends of the brewery out of thepool of entrants.. Debates on the percentage of "randoms" who were given allocations.. I mean I'm just as bummed as the next guy that I didn't get in, but come the **** on.

They pretty obviously hand picked many of the winners. And yes my butt is still hurt.

I immediately apologize for this dumb question, but I will be up there for the first time in two weeks. Whats the over under on bottles being available then. Do bottles usually sit for a couple weeks?

Some of those bottles will be gone and there will potentially be one or two new bottles. If I had to guess Arthur would probably be the only sure bet from the current list to be there in two weeks time but one or two of the others could still be there as well.

That ******* Pittsburgh thread has a lot to answer for, is there anyone in that thread who isn't a complete ******* tool?

Shots fired! I don't blame you, I catch maybe 1 out of every 10 pages. can't keep up with it.

In more important news, cracked 1 of my last 2 - 2013 Arthur and it's held up so f'ing fantastic. I hope they all hold up that well!

If anything from the list is not available at the brewery Willey's could have at least 1 or 2 of Arthur, Soigne, George, Florence or Anna available. Arthur is probably the safest bet of the bunch to be available. Worst case scenario you're going home with some kick-ass growlers.

Man, people gotta stop spreading the word about Willey's. I'm shocked it's not overrun all the time now.

Only partially kidding.

Has everyone listened to Good Beer Hunting's podcast with Shaun Hill? If not, it's absolutely fantastic, really opens to your eyes to what goes into every drop of liquid coming out of that place. By far the most I've ever heard Shaun speak of the brewery, past, present and future.

That is all.
thoroughly enjoyed it as well
