The ol' lady and I are making a VT run over presidents' day with the intent of drinking and teaching her how to ski. Can somebody give me the straight talk on the snow report because it's not looking like it's going to be fun times.

We're looking to ski Stow and I don't want to ruin skiing for her forever if it's freezing and the mountain is an ice rink. If anyone has any suggestions for fun alternative winter activities I'd really appreciate it too. Was looking at possible snow shoe treks or ice skating but am open to suggestions.

I heard stowe is doing to be making a decision this coming week about whether they are going to keep blowing snow or not. It's been a garbage year unfortunately.

I'm hoping it cools down over the next few weeks. Driving up to VT on the 25th with Hill Farmstead on the 26th and hopefully Sugarbush on the 27th and 28th; we've got an Airbnb in Montpelier for Friday and Saturday night. I suppose if the weather is not in our favour, we could go to HF again on Saturday... Not a bad consolation prize.

Right now I'm enjoying the November batch of Twilight of the Idols. Love it.

There is very little snow out there right now, just hasn't snowed this year. Was 50 out yesterday, 50! I almost got stuck in the mud driving, no joke. I wouldn't blow money on lift tickets unless there is a dump of a foot+ between now and when you arrive.

Thanks for the snow report. I'm just going to stay positive and hope that it's puking when I get there. And if S&S 6 is on too all the better.
