Man, RateBeer is a terrible name for a website that's trying to host a legitimate awards show. For God's sake it's worse than TalkBeer.
 
Seconded. I thought BA Everett was a bit hot fresh but had it 3-4 months ago and it was amazing. Smooth bourbony Magic.
The 'best' part of this was all the negative talk surrounding it when it first came out "too hot", "infected", "regular is better" - made picking this up in the last few months quite easy and under the radar for how good it's actually become. I'm looking forward to this release.
 
I had the BA Everett batch 2 (the 18(?) month version) and thought it was fantastic, never had the batch 3 (the longer aged version). Hope to land this new one.
 
I had the extended aged version over a year ago and it was definitely infected. Maybe not all bottles suffered the same fate.

Did HF ever confirm any infection?

I bought mine at HF and label says 02/2014 bottled...does anyone know which batch this is?
