yeah i'll be rolling solo.. figured they aren't going to allow me to dome a 750.. guess a 375 is ok though.. do they limit you to one order of 375ml I guess is the question?

if anybody will be up there tomorrow and wants to share some on premise stuff, drop a line here, probably be heading to hill early-mid afternoon tomm.

You can drink either flora alone or one draft. If you want a second beer, we allow Elaborative 4 as an option since it's only 3.2%

yeah, I have plenty of beer.. that's just my favorite glass to drink from these days.. if you look a few pages back I actually said that's the glass I wanted to be available again. I won't be back up until the middle of next month.

Agreed. Been looking for a HF Willi Becher for a while. My plan was actually to "ask to buy"/steal one from Blackback. Guess I'll have to buy a freshie now...

well, I'm glad you won't steal from Blackback...

these are smaller glasses.... 25cl (marked line) or 33cl to the brim... like the small gueuze glasses but in the nice willi becher shape.

I just don't drink the beer, it's pretty easy really. Don't get me wrong, I want to drink it. But if I drink it then it's gone and I don't have it anymore. And if I don't have it I can't drink it. And what if it was really good? Then I'll have to wait until the next batch, which might not be as good. So now I have to trade for another. What can I trade for it? Well I don't want to trade anything from the "cellar" because then I won't have whatever bottled i'd need to trade. **** it I'm just gonna drink an IPA.


In other news, I have a problem...and 2x Vera '13

If I remember correctly, I got there about 9:30 am. Couldn't believe the amount of people there already, should have known better.

The worst part about that day for me was that there were at least 3 line counts that put me at about #280 in line,
ended up #301.

Ouch. I remember drinking til 3am? with ilovestouts Dino averagjoe3 and others (frank, fuj) then waking up around 7 and rolling out of bed not knowing where I was...got there around 8isb (Maybe it was 9 but there was a line of cars all lined up down the road) I think and was 120? Where I got to meet and stand next to the lovely skrip while badly wounded. I think facesnorth was mixed in there somewhere too
Fun times ..... I sure do remember (well the wait only )

we moved out of the hood and bought a place in the south end if you want to come over and bring some house warming gifts from the cellar

Opened a 9/14 Anna today, that gushed pretty hard. Sadly in addition to being a gusher it didn't taste good either. I've got a few more so I'll be interested to see if it was just a bad bottle or what.

I thought that bottle tasted weirdly boozy when we did our big saison tasting a few weeks ago. One of the only pours I found hard to finish.

Le Sarrasin is still awesome. This bottle seemed even more lemony than the last.

I didn't believe you so I opened one today as well. Yup, still so awesome and Meyer Lemon for days...


This was the bottom of the cap. Had a dent on the top and reflected beneath. Not sure if residue or rust. Beer was plenty carbed. Is this normal?
