I gots me one!

Full disclosure, this is actually angry_lobster's bottle that he foolishly sent to me for safe-keeping before we open it this weekend.

I was over at 11:30 today and pulled number 9, it went really quickly. Also saw a 1L growler being filled. When I asked about it I was told that they will fill 2 of them if you order a 2L fill. It makes sense, just wish I'd known that sooner.

Somebody wanna pm me the link to the FB thread on the mule wanting to fight? that FB group (if its the one I'm thinking of) is always so level headed and reasonable.

Oh, the BA Abraxas at opening yesterday morning was fantastic.

Just saw the FB thread - yikes. You'd think that Shaun spends his spare time driving around the states running over people's dogs with some of the butthurt being displayed there over something Shaun's in the right for doing.

It was only a matter of time before some of these mules got caught, and not a moment too soon in my opinion. Limits are there for a reason (so all of us theoretically get a chance to enjoy the beer) and the area around Hill is small enough where everybody knows eachother - eventually somebody was going to get caught. I'm still waiting for (her name withheld, but she's mentioned earlier in the thread) to get busted if she hasn't already been. I'm hoping a few more mules that do the dirty work for some big-name traders get tossed this weekend as well.

Anyways, for anybody going up to the Cigar City event or grabbing CD15 bottles tomorrow have fun!

Maybe you already are one and don't even realize it yet! Haveiseenyourcellar?

Should be there at 2:30 or 3 today. Now looks like I'm coming up solo so I'll need to find someone to split bottles of CD13 and CD15 with. If a fat guy in a Pats hoodie asks you to split a bottle, you say yes dammit!
I'll split it with you from Austin if they will allow virtual pours

Hopefully you find a nice soul to split it with Bill

1L growlers are not accepted. For the record. Whether you have 1, 2, 3, or 10. When brand new customers come in (ie no one on TB) who don't know anything about anything when it comes to craft beer, but have some random growlers that "a buddy gave them," then their 1L growler may be filled if they have two of them and are willing to get the same beer in both. The customer is also informed to not bring the 1L growlers back as they are not accepted at the brewery.

OK. When I asked it seemed like the employee knew what she was talking about, but I guess not. I'll find out tomorrow when I go back. It seems like maybe some of the rules are different now that there aren't any limits. The same employee told me they filled something like 70 750's on one order this week.

It was 75!

Still can't believe they had BA Abraxis yesterday but since I didn't get here at 11:00 I missed out! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

CD13 was awesome. Did not get a CD15 to drink on site sadly. Hopefully still there for on-site next time I'm up there.

Split the CD13 with a couple from Pennsylvania on a beer trip. They split some awesome cheddar with me (HF said bringing in food was fine so they pulled out cheese...my kind of people).

The CCB flight was nuts. Jai Alai and three different barrel aged stouts. That Rum Barrel Caffe Americano was unreal. Brandy Huna also didn't suck.

Good day up there today.
