whats nuts is that im considering entering and making the drive 3 months in a row...

I already decided to go up for everett/WoL thursday after promising myself I'd take time off from the drive after FoFA. Will i be entering this and potentially driving up a few weeks later? you bet. damnit.

night one's theme is "once you go black, you never go back - an exploration of barrel aged stouts"
In this context, the use of the word exploration made my body respond with a silent ewww.

It's the Midwest. Did you expect anything else? Just post up by the keg. One box will have some lighter stuff in it as well.

Sad feels now :(

hahahaha don't have any sad feels, this is exactly what i signed up for. last time we had an all-stout bang i almost died twice and a massive amount of crazy **** happened. it's gonna be great! i am REALLY bringing back peefessionals this time, not just pretending to

There's a creepy shed in my backyard you can disappear in to die.

to clarify... they probably don't need extra traffic on the weekends... and for Ann they had the luxury of the un-opened tasting room... not sure when that will open but it may be in use by then...

Everyone I spoke to last Thursday seemed pretty confident that it would be open this week. I was told bottle only sales would be in the "old" retail space with everything else in the new space. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Are magnums being made of all newly released beers? If so, how many go on sale or does it vary? Any idea what time one would need to be in line for a magnum of works of love?

there MAY be magnums of works of love, but very few of the one-offs see public sale of magnums. the only two recent ones that have been for sale at the retail shop AFAIK were CD14 (and i believe that was only a handful) and flora b6 (during HF anniversary). as was mentioned earlier, the others are likely put into magnums, but are either sold for charity (vera mae, ann, and flora mags at FOFA) or are more of "friends and family" type of things.

Appreciate the information. Thanks.

Anyone know where I'd be able to get styro shippers in Vermont. Anywhere from HF to Burlington would do. Would prefer a pair of 6 shippers or a 12. Thanks

Anywhere I've looked in the past 4 years tells me it's illegal to sell them in VT. Not sure if thats true or not.
